Studio Rules

Studio Rules

All clients must observe the following studio rules, designed for safety and enjoyment of the program:

  1. All clients/members are required schedule their classes in advance via our Pike13 website and to check in with the instructor. You have up to 30 minutes before the start of the session to reserve. No reservations are allowed less than 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.

  2. Anyone who shows up after the warm-up period of the session will not be admitted to the session.

  3. If you cannot make a reserved session, you MUST cancel that session online via Pike13 before 1 hour of the start of the session so that the next person on the wait list may attend. A $5 fee will be charged for all unexcused no-shows. (Cancellations are NOT accepted via email, phone message, text or Facebook, other than in cases of emergency.)

  4. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before the session start time is considered a “late cancellation.” A $5 fee may be charged for excessive late cancellations.

  5. For safety and consideration of others, please wait in the hall for your session to begin.

  6. For safety reasons, no one under the age of 16 are permitted in the studio, especially when sessions are in process. Those violating this rule will be kindly asked to reschedule their session.

  7. Since we do not offer childcare services, children who are waiting for their parents, must be of age where they can sit by themselves unsupervised.

  8. Footwear: Athletic footwear must be worn in exercise areas at all times. NO STREET SHOES OR SANDALS ARE PERMITTED. In order to keep our flooring protected and clean, we ask that you change into your athletic footwear before your session and do not wear them beforehand. NOTE: You may workout barefoot at your own discretion.

  9. For your safety and protection of the studio floors, no gum, food, or beverages are allowed on the studio exercise areas. Water is allowed only if it is encased in a bottle with a non-spill cover.

  10. Lost or Stolen Items: Nerdy Girl Fitness is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

  11. You must report any injuries, illnesses, or other health concerns that could impact your session to your trainer(s) in each session. If a trainer feels that you are overextending yourself, lifting too heavy, not using correct form, etc. you must comply with safety concerns. Your trainer may encourage you to work to your personal capacity; however, you are never obligated to work outside of your personal comfort/safety zone.

  12. Please do not use the hallway or common areas in the building to work out.

  13. You should plan to train at least 3 -5 sessions per week. We will review your progress periodically and increase your weights and progressions as needed to ensure your fitness level advances and you meet your goals.

  14. Meal Plan Support, Recipes, Menus, etc. are provided when you begin your program. In order receive your meal plan, you agree that all meals must be journal updated each day (either written, using pictures, or online using My Fitness Pal), monthly weigh-ins with body fat percent (done at the studio) and entered in FitClients, and monthly progress photos in FitClients.
